Keep Doing What You Love

Here’s the Rub…

Doing what you love is how you lead a fulfilling life. So what about when your passions come with injuries and regular wear-and-tear? My passion is in addressing acute and chronic imbalances in your body, so you can get back to and keep doing what you love.

My home studio is especially for people whose bodies experience particular and peculiar rigors. The majority of my clientele are aerialists, dancers, performers, fencers, technicians, and outdoor workers - athletes of many stripes. Most are very conscientious about their bodies and want to keep learning how to treat themselves better while working hard. If that sounds like you, we may have many interests in common!

In addition to athletic and rehabilitative massage, I specialize in pre- and postnatal massage, assisted stretching, shiatsu, Connective Tissue Massage, and reflexology. The work is in the details for me, but my clients generally come away feeling relaxed even after they may have discovered a lot that their bodies are telling them during their session. The word I think most broadly defines my style is methodical. Don’t feel like an athlete or particularly body-conscientious person? Not to worry! While athletes are my specialty, I work with people of all populations. I have worked with underserved people who are HIV+, those with disabilities, people who have spent a career working at a desk or taking care of children, those living with cancer or who are in remission, and much more.

If you are interested in specialty work, such as intra-oral work (massaging the jaw from inside of the mouth) or pelvic girdle work (massaging all around the pelvis up-close and personal - within professional limits of course), let me know! I love finding new ways to approach perennial pains.
